Poultry
A good living environment will result in healthier poultry and faster and more efficient growth. Various ventilation and circulation methods have been developed to this end, depending on barn size, the outside climate and the poultry’s stage of life. Longitudinal ventilation
In length ventilation, the fans are mounted in the end wall and the air inlets on the sidewalls. A wide range of air volume can be generated by controlling the fan RPM and changing the positions of the air inlets.
Tunnel ventilation
Tunnel ventilation is often used for maximum ventilation. With the inlets located at one side of the barn and the fans located at the opposite side, air passes through the barn at high speed from the front to the back. This high airspeed creates a wind-chill effect which lowers the apparent temperature of the birds.
Cross ventilation
For cross ventilation, the fans are placed inside a sidewall. The inlets, on the other hand, are positioned in the opposite sidewall. The short distance between the inlets and the fans enables fresh air with minimum airspeed. This system allows small, but also large quantities of air exchange.

Horizontal air circulation
Horizontal Circulation Fans mix the air above the plants at a high speed from fan to fan. This can be done according to the serial or parallel ventilation principle. As a side effect, due to the airspeed, the air between the plants is set in motion and big horizontal temperature differences are evened out.
Vertical air circulation
Vertically mixing the air with the help of V-FloFans creates a constant airflow between the plants, which ensures an active microclimate. In addition, this fan mixes sun-heated air with colder layers of air at the bottom of the crop, thus evening out vertical differences in temperature and humidity. V-FloFans are often used in greenhouses where the ‘Next Generation Growing’ principle is used for growing.
Reducing humidity with exhaust fans for greenhouses
To reduce humidity in a greenhouse, a mechanical ventilation system can be a fitting solution. With the help of Galvanized Box Fans, humid air is extracted from the greenhouse and dry air is pumped in through air inlets.
Dairy
Fans for dairy cattle
Modern, highly productive dairy cows must live under optimum climate conditions all year round. To reduce heat stress in dairy barns, we offer a diverse range of Multifan and EMI fans.
Our Dairy Fan (basket fan) has been specifically developed for dairy barns. With its high throw and high air output, this fan maintains a minimum airspeed of 2 m/s over a long distance. For barns with a lower ceiling, we recommend smaller basket fans. The Dairy Fan and the smaller basket fans can, of course, also be combined.
Our Ceiling Fan is ideal for milking parlors. This fan creates a pleasant vertical air displacement around the cows. As a result, the cow experiences less heat stress and has fewer issues with flies.
Tube ventilation
In addition to the aforementioned solutions, tube ventilation is another option you could choose. With this type of ventilation, a wall fan sucks fresh air from the outside and transfers it inside the barn through a tube. The tube has holes in it and therefore ensures that the fresh air is delivered to the dairy cows throughout the barn at low speed.

We offer various solutions depending on your specific situation. For large industrial buildings, for example, we offer ceiling fans that circulate air vertically. These fans enable you to cooldown your hall during the summer and spread the warm air evenly throughout the hall in the wintertime.
On top of that, we have various mobile fans available for extremely hot days. They are easy to move and position in places where extra cooling is required. For the warmer areas, we offer Panel Fans and Galvanized Box Fans. These allow hot air to be extracted from industrial halls and draw in cold air from outside the hall.
